Requesting Samples

We offer a sample service charged at £3.50 per sample. If you would like a sample (maximum of 3 samples per person), please e-mail us by clicking this link and stating clearly the following information:

1. Date of wedding
2. Your full name
3. Full postal address
4. Contact telephone number
5. Name of the design(s)
6. Preferred colour scheme

Please send a cheque for £3.50 per sample made payable to Aura Cards to the address on our Contact page.

Ordering

It is advisable to order your wedding stationery no later than 8 months before your wedding. This will allow 4 weeks for proofing and for any alterations to the design and 8 weeks for us to hand-make your stationery. This will enable you to send out your wedding invitations 8-12 weeks before your big day giving you plenty of time to chase up guests who have not replied.

Orders can be turned around in a shorter timeframe but please check with us before ordering to ensure that it will be possible.

Don't worry if you don't know exact numbers of invitations before ordering, we can add or remove a few before your order is finalised.

It is recommended that you state on the order forms all items that will be required - this is to guarantee colour and stock continuity. Your invitations will be sent out first, with other items such as Order of Service/Menus etc. sent nearer the time of the wedding. You should send details of what is to be printed inside the Order of Service/Menus and guests' names for Place Cards /Seating Plans a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the wedding.

Delivery

Orders will normally be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or courier and will require a signature on receipt. Please ensure that there is someone to receive the stationery at the delivery address.

Payment

A deposit of 50% of the order value is required before work on the order commences, with the balance due before the last part of your order is dispatched. In many cases this will be a couple of weeks before the wedding. All stationery is personalised to your individual requirements. Refund or exchange can be given only where the merchandise is faulty or the specifications of the order have not been met. In the event of cancellation, all work in progress must be paid for in full.
